Welcome to the Tarentaalnes Guesthouse, the Agterstoep, and the Tarentaal Theatre

 

Nestled against the northern slope of the Magaliesberg just outside Rustenburg, you’ll find Tarentaalnes Guesthouse. It’s as if the tranquility and peace of the mountain washes over our guests… Delicious sweet fountain water flows from the mountain into our taps and it tastes as if you’re drinking it from a mountain pool.

Add to this our own dairy cow, “Dairybelle,” and her calf “Tinkerbelle,” as well as horses, donkeys, an ostrich, and of course, our friendly guinea fowl, and you’ll feel right at home. In the evening, our Scops owl calls out to his mate and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear her soft answer.

Although you’ll immediately get an idea of the era in which the original house was built, you’ll quickly see that old and new have been combined to create a comfortable atmosphere where you can still enjoy all the conveniences of our modern society!
